Specifically for use in the Airforce Texan .510/.50 caliber PCP Air Rifle. Be extra careful of of ricochets compared to Lead slugs. The interface between the slug and the bore is accomplished by the use of four Buna-N Rubber O-Rings (also Non-Lead/Lead-Free) resting in precision machined grooves. BE SURE TO HAVE A SAFE SLUG STOP/LANDING AREA BEHIND THIS BOX! For this reason, DO NOT SHOOT AT HARD OBJECTS OR STEEL TARGETS! These slugs are expensive due to the cost of 145 Copper. However, they can be reused if shot into a large box, such as a Banker's Box, filled with old magazines or solidly packed recycling paper. The precision CNC Lathe-machined .472/.474 diameter body does not contact the rifle bore. The O-Rings flex and conform to to the bore and rifling, and impart spin to the slug. It has not been tested in other airguns, and there might possibly be problems with using it. Instead of Lead, this slug is made of 145 Copper, which contains less than 1% Lead by weight. 145 Copper is fairly soft, but not as soft as Lead. Inspect the recovered slugs for damage, and put on new O-Rings (extra ones are supplied). This is the threshold used by the state of California for a projectile to be considered Non-Lead, which is in the same category as Lead-Free in that state and most regions. It will be too tight of a fit in the Seneca Dragon Claw with its .495 bore diameter. In addition, 145 Copper is easily recyclable, and you can get some of your money back by selling the damaged slugs at a metals scrap recycling yard. Slug weight:250 grains.
